Hilton Tbilisi Hotel Opens in the Former Building of Agriculture Ministry

A relevant contract has been signed today between the Hilton Corporation and Granat company.

The signing ceremony was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimtri Kumsishvili. As reported, Latvian Investment Group Granat Investment has bought the hotel project carried out by the Georgian Property company in the former building of Ministry of Agriculture.

A render photo of the hotel project was already posted in the social network but details were not disclosed. Earlier this year it was reported that the Latvian Investment Group Granat Investment had bought the hotel project from the Georgian Property company.

According to the obligations taken by the company towards the state, a 5-star hotel is to be opened in the building. Under the agreement, the hotel is to be opened in 4 years. A total of $ 20 million will be invested in a 120 –room hotel
