Gulf Air, a Bahrain airline has appeared at Tbilisi International Airport.

According to Georgian Airports Union, after long-term negotiations, starting June 25, 2017, Gulf Air will perform direct Tbilisi-Bahrain flights at Tbilisi International Airport. The company will perform three flights a week.

A Gulf Air delegation arrived in Georgia in May 2015 by invitation of LLC Georgia Airports Union. The delegation met with representatives of Ministry of Economy of Georgia, National Tourism Administration, TAV Georgia management and travel agencies.

Gulf Air is a leading airline of Bahrain Kingdom that has been operating since 1950. Currently, the airline performs flights to 43 cities in 24 countries.
