A New Program to Launch for Vineyard Agriculture Co-operatives

A new program of agricultural co-operatives “Vineyard Agriculture Co-operatives Support” already started. According to government information, cooperative members of program participants will have a chance to get benefit from not only grapes but also realization of wine.

To participate in the program, there are certain conditions to complete: the members of Agriculture cooperative should consist of at least 20 people and they should own at least 20 hectares of vineyard, where following grape types should be planted: Rkatsiteli, Saferavi, Mtsvane, Kikhvi, Kisi, Chinuri, Tsolikauri, Krakhuna, Alesandrouli, Ojaleshi, Chkhaveri, Aladasturi, Usakhelouri, Mujurutuli, Tsulikidzis/Rachuli tetra.

The program which promotes vineyard agriculture aims to give necessary equipment to at least three agricultural cooperative where 250 members will be included and who will have 316 hectares of vineyard.
