Construction of Tourist Information Center in Kazbegi National Park Launched

Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, Gigla Agulashvili, together with the head of Tourism National Administration, Giorgi Chigovadze visited Kazbegi National Park Administration and launched the construction of tourist information center.

According to the minister, tourists will get detailed information concerning park biodiversity and tourist services in the center. There will be exhibition space, tourist information center and administration located in the building. 

The construction is implemented by the agency of protected territories with the support of KfW Development Bank. The effective implementation of project is provided by GFA. Project costs amount to 793 450 GEL. In 2017, 6 737 500 GEL will be spent for the infrastructure of the protected territories.
