American experts meet Georgian businessmen

U.S. Department of Commerce is holding a special conference for the representatives of Georgian business sector - business development and franchising are the main issues, on which American experts will give consultations to Georgian businessmen.

The conference was planned during the meeting of the Georgian and U.S. presidents in Washington last month. It aims at providing detailed information to Georgian business authorities to do business in the United States.

`We are hoping that this conference will help build capacity for Georgian companies to be able to approach US market, to learn what kind of specialty things they need to know in terms of making presentations to U.S. companies, seeking US partners and what the US government`s resources are for doing business, in addition on tomorrow we will specifically be talking about what it takes to do business in franchising,` Senior Policy Advisor, Caucasus and Central Asia Market Access and Compliance Unit International Trade Administration U.S. Department of Commerce, Denica Starks said.
