Partnership Fund Offers EIB to Join GINO Green City Project

The Partnership Fund of Georgia offers European Investment Bank (EIB) to join GINO Green City project.

The Partnership Fund executive director and the EIB vice president discussed the project. At the same time meeting, the Georgian Party introduced the principles and key working components of Partnership Fund to the European Bank representatives.

The Parties discussed the issue of constructing an eco-city near Tbilisi Sea and arranging various infrastructure, including, hotels, recreation complex, public school, kindergarten, medical center and various recreational zones. The Parties also discussed ongoing and future projects.

Partnership Fund representatives and EIB vice president Vazil Hudak also determined specific goals for long-term cooperation.

We remind you that in July 2017, EIB signed three financial agreements with Georgia: 250 mln EUR agreement for transport communication project; 3.5 mln EUR project for rehabilitation of Vardnili and ENGURI HPPs and third project for supply of 10 electric buses and 20 diesel buses to Batumi municipal transport fleet.
