Economic Minister reports preliminary results of foreign investments in 2011

Minister of Sustainable Development and Economics of Georgia Vera Kobalia reported the preliminary results of the foreign investments in 2011 to media today.
According to the minister, 377 million dollar was re-investment of out direct foreign investments made in Georgia last year, which was 981 million in total.
Most of the investments were made in industry sector; transport and communications was also in the focus of the investors. The largest investors in 2011 were Holland, Denmark and Azerbaijan.
The final results of the foreign investments made in Georgia in 2011 will be published on August 15, 2012.
