The government has started funds allocation for the construction of the new city of Lazika. According to the spread information, in total 85 thousand GEL have been allocated for Lazika topographical map creation and territory cleaning.

The amount necessarily for preparatory works will be transferred on the account of "Anaklia - Ganmukhuri - Resorts" company.

Please note: President first announce about construction of the city of Lazika in Zugdidi last December. Mikheil Saakashvili noted that within ten years the new city would become the country's main trade and economic business center and the second-largest city in Georgia with half a million population.
