According to the Mountain Resorts Development Company under Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia number of visitors in 2017-2108 to the mountain ski resorts has increased by 25 percent comparing to 2016-2017.

Gudauri hosted 345997 visitors this season that is 25 percent higher than last year. Bakuriani received 132 704 visitors – 15 percent higher than in 2016-217.

In 2017/2018, the number of tourists has increased by 129 percent at Resort Goderdzi compared to last year. 10 283 visitors have visited the resort this season.

The number of Tetnuldi, Svaneti visitors’ has increased by 122 percent compared to the previous season, while Hawvali hosted 119 percent higher visitors.
