Wyndham Grand hotel to be opened instead of Rixos in Tbilisi on May 2

Wyndham Grand hotel will be opened on May 2 instead of the Rixos hotel. According to Georgian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, the hotel will receive the first guest on the same day. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will attend the opening of Wyndham Grand along with the delegation specially arrived from Israel.
As reported, the date of the hotel opening was changed several times, in 2018 President of the Georgia-Israel Business Chamber Itsik Moshe told "Commersant" that the hotel was built with the use of very complex technologies and expensive materials.
The building is located in the center of Tbilisi on Gudiashvili Street, the project cost is $ 45 million, the hotel will have 158 rooms, 17 luxury and 2 presidential apartments with panoramic lift as well as several conference halls.
“Commersant reported earlier that Rixos hotel will have an exclusive 22-meter chandelier which will be made by one of the leading Czech manufacturers of Bohemian crystal lighting fixtures Lasvit specially for the hotel. The company has made decorations and lights in the restaurant Atmosphere based in Dubai in the world's tallest skyscraper Burj Khalifa. The 22 meters high and 4 meters in diameter chandelier which will be installed in the hall of Tbilisi Rixos is called peace chandelier as it is decorated with doves.
The hotel will include a swimming pool, Asian spa, three café-bars and restaurants, including a panoramic Sky Bar, 5 conference rooms.
