Georgia’s GDP stood at 7.5% in April 2023

According to preliminary data, the volume of investments poured in the Georgian economy in the first quarter of 2023 amounted to $496.6 million that is 13% less than in the same period of 2022, the National Statistics Office reports. In April 2023 the estimated real growth compared to the same period of the previous year was observed in the following activities: Construction, Financial and insurance activities, Transportation and storage, Information and communication, Trade. Declines were registered in Manufacturing and Real estate activities.
