9 710 permits on construction
and reconstruction (on the total area of 5 682 595 square meters) were issued
in Georgia in 2011, by 46,3% more than in 2011. BLACK SEA PRESS was told it at
the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. Over the
reporting period, the number of permits issued on construction of dwelling
houses exceeds by 26%, while on construction of non-dwelling ones - by 62%. 63%
of the permits issued in Georgia in 2011 fall on Tbilisi; Kvemo Kartli Region
(10%), Achara (7%) and Imereti (6%) are following. The majority of permits, in
particular 38%, have been issued on construction of dwelling houses, 9% on
trading objects, 3% - on industrial buildings and warehouses.
