9 710 permits on construction and reconstruction (on the total area of 5 682 595 square meters) were issued in Georgia in 2011, by 46,3% more than in 2011. Over the reporting period, the number of permits issued on construction of dwelling houses exceeds by 26%, while on construction of non-dwelling ones - by 62%. 63% of the permits issued in Georgia in 2011 fall on Tbilisi; Kvemo Kartli Region (10%), Achara (7%) and Imereti (6%) are following. The majority of permits, in particular 38%, have been issued on construction of dwelling houses, 9% on trading objects, 3% - on industrial buildings and warehouses.
