Reconstruction of Tbilisi "Sheraton" hotel halted due to the hotel’s overcrowding. The hotel’s management announces, capacity has reached 95% in the recent period, rooms have been booked till the end of October and owners decided to stop reconstruction.

According to them, people paying corporate and business visit mainly stay at the hotel. "Sheraton" states, the owners will take a decision on the reconstruction resumption, so the exact date is unknown yet.

Note: The reconstruction of the hotel began last year, the hotel’s owner "Rakia" company is going to make a 16 million USD investment in the project.
