Tourism Agency Considers Realistic to Receive 7 Million Tourists

According to the National Tourism Agency, it’s realistic that 7 million tourists will visit Georgia in the next years.

Note: According to the government's new plan, the number of visitors in the next 4 years will reach 7 million.

Tourism agency forecasts, tourists flow in Georgia in 2012 will exceed the forecast rate by 15-20%. According to the agency, this means that more than 4 million visitors will visit our country this year.

They also say that in the first quarter of 2012, the number of incoming in Georgia tourists increased by 53% compared to the same period of last year. Per the information of the agency, from year to year stream of visitors steadily grows by 40%, it is sufficient basis to say that in total 7 million tourists will visit the country until 2016.
