Israeli Businessmen to Build Boutique Hotels in Georgia "After three years of Russian pressure, Israeli businessmen return to Georgia"

Israeli businessmen are planning to invest 50 million USD in the hotel business in Georgia. The businessmen will build 10 boutique hotels which is approximately 500 hotel rooms.

Tbilisi, Signaki, Borjomi and Kvariati are the main places Israeli businessmen are interested in. The head of the Israeli-Georgia Chamber of Commerce informs that after three years of pressure on Israel from Russia, the Israeli businessmen return to Georgia.

He adds that, against the crisis, among European countries Georgia is the country with the greatest potential for them. Itsik Moshe notes 50% growth of Israeli tourists in Georgia is observed. While a part of investors say that the main problem that hinders the development of the Georgian tourism are high prices for air tickets and the lack of hotels.
