Construction of New Shopping Center in Lilo to Begin in August

Construction of the new shopping center in "Lilo Mall" territory will begin in August. According to "Lilo Mall" Director General, the project is almost ready and just technical details are to be clarified. George Kvaratskhelia notes, the shopping center construction should be completed by 2015.

In his words, the construction process will not interfere with the functioning of the current market, because the project will be implemented in several stages. "Lilo Mall" head adds, the center is of the regional scale and, apart from trade, various educational and recreational spaces will be located there. In addition, according to the director, a new shopping center will have a special trade zone status.

Note: The project, which cost is 59 million USD, is carried out by the Spanish company. The special trade zone status will give entrepreneurs employed in "Lilo Mall" tax benefits as well as exemption from income and profit taxes.
