As it became known to “Sarke”, “Georgian Reconstruction and Development Company” (“GRDC”) is going to build 4-star hotel on Liberty Square in the very center of Tbilisi. For that end, the company holds negotiations with undisclosed French company. To remind, “GRDC” initially planned construction of residential and trade complex, which had to be completed in 2008, but these plans were altered. French “Louvre Hotels Group” may appear as partner of Georgian company in this project. The group had declared about interest to Georgian market in semiannual report, saying that besides 4-star “Golden Tulip” hotels are planned to launch in 2012-2013 in Algeria, Austria, Georgia, Lithuania and Russia.
