According to Tbilisi City Hall, the former owner of Post Office building- “Silk Road Group” company will locate a 3 - star hotel “Park Inn” in the building.

“Rezidor Hotel Group” Vice President Punit Chatal and “Silk Road Group” Chairman of the Supervisory Board Giorgi Ramishvili have signed Agreement Protocol on the hotel construction. “Rezidor Hotel Group” will manage the hotel. The investment cost of the project is 20 million USD, the building's owner attracted funds from "TBC Bank". The project will start in January 2013.

Simultaneously, Tbilisi City Hall begins reconstruction of the Rose Revolution Square. Within the project, the square will be arranged, greened, commercial facilities will be constructed as well as the cableway which will connect the Square with Mtatsminda Park. In the northern part of the square cafe - pavilions and parking area will be located, in the vicinity of "Radisson" hotel a commercial center and an open swimming pool will be built.

Construction works of the cableway connecting with Mtatsminda Park will be carried out by an Austrian company “Doppelmayr”. The construction will be completed in March 2013.
