The tower was opened by the city's Mayor Jemal Ananidze and the Chairman of the government of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze today. The Tower is surrounded by four fountains. Each is equipped with a tap in which chacha flows through the special touch device.

"We have not yet defined whether chacha will flow every day or two days a week," - the Mayor of Batumi Jemal Ananidze says. In his words, chacha tasting, most likely, will be available for ten minutes. The overall tower height is 25 meters, the main dome is located in the height of 25 meters, the remaining 4 domes - in height of 5 meters. The clock is installed in the tower as well. In total 810 055 GEL was allocated from the City Hall budget for the construction of "Chacha Tower".
