Customs Clearance Economic Zones (CCEZ) will not be a priority for a new government. According to the current finance minister Nodar Khaduri, CCEZ construction is not a priority area and it will no longer be funded from the budget.

Kakha Baindurashvili who started this project on the post of finance minister explains the radio "Commersant" that three Customs Clearance Economic Zones across Georgia are sufficient and there is no need to build a new one.

Along with that, the former minister notes that the above-mentioned initiative has fully improved the situation at customs and created a comfortable environment in the private sector. Accordingly, Baindurashvili adds, to recognize the money invested in the projects a mistake is wrong. Baindurahsvili says that only two zones - Lilo and Adlia were financed from the state budget while Poti CCEZ is a commercial project.
