More than 4 million foreign tourists have visited Georgia before December 2012. The National Tourism Administration reports based on the Information Center data of Information - Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

According to official information, for 11 months of 2012 - January – November in total 4 017 375 travelers arrived in Georgia, which is more than the 2012 figure by 58% . "In November 2012 the number of foreigners arrived in Georgia made 369 101 which is by 68% more than the figure of last year's same period. The number of foreign visitors from the neighboring countries is steadily increasing. As per 11 ​​months data, the following countries lead: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia and Iran ", - the National Tourism Administration states.
