Whether the Olympic Village will be transferred to the refugees? This theme has become topical after Prime Minister said at a meeting with journalists that it was not excluded that after the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) the Olympic Village would be transferred to refugees. According to him, there are many questions regarding the project, but the village should be built. Under the terms, the investor should construct the Olympic Village near the Tbilisi Sea until March 2015. The Youth Olympic Games will be held in Georgia in 2015 from May to August. In this period the Olympic village will be free transferred to the Georgian side.

The radio "Commersant" got in touch with the Chinese "Hualing International" which is involved in the construction of the Olympic Village. The company says that they have not held consultations with the government on the project and the major issues that are to be discussed are construction and technical details. The company’s representative adds that the Olympic Village is a commercial project and after the Olympic Games the village will be transferred, according to the rules prescribed by law.
