Funds not yet been Mobilized in One Billion Foundation "GP Morgan" may participate in Georgian Investment Fund

Funds have not yet been mobilized in One Billion Agriculture Foundation. According to the Minister of Agriculture, information about investors and the origin of the funds will be known only after the funds are invested in the founations.

 

According to David Kirvalidze, irrigation is funded from the loan allocated for the state from the World Bank, the Dutch grant and the UN Agricultural Fund, while equipment will be purchased with budget funds. The minister claims that one billion foundation will fund other operations in rural areas.

Along with that, it is reported that the investment giant "GP Morgan" may take part in the investment fund announced by the government. Ministry of Economy informs "Commersant" that "GP Morgan" will bring institutional management component to the fund that means the foundation will not be established solely by individuals. According to the Minister, the institutional management will make the fund more transparent and quality of corporate management will be on qualitatively different level.
