Whether "Intercontinental" hotel will be built in Tbilisi? "Georgian property" company implementing the project still doesn’t have an answer to this question. The company, which is obliged to launch a hotel in the former building of the Ministry of Agriculture, states "Commersant" that there is no news regarding the resumption of construction and it’s unknown when the active construction process will start.

The company’s representative informs that the talks on the hotel project have not yet been held with the Ministry of Economy. However, despite this, "Georgian Property" claims that the project is maintained. In total 40-45 million USD were planned to be invested in "Intercontinental" hotel in Tbilisi but the project has stalled for several years due to August war and financial crisis.
