Infrastructure ministry requests investors to employ the local population in the frames of investment projects. First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure states radio "Commersant" that a winner of the ministry’s international tender is obliged to employ 70% of local residents within the project.

Shota Murgulia explains that this method is not new and has been used effectively by the former government during Kobuleti bypass road construction. He adds that the investor will have the opportunity to hire 30% of employees from different countries. Murgulia notes that this commitment cannot prevent international investors' interest in the Georgian projects.
