Bidzina Ivanishvili Meets with Representatives of Business Sector Today

Today at 11AM, "Sheraton Metechi Palace", the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili will meet with representatives of the business sector. The Premier announced about the meeting in his speech at the extraordinary congress of "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" last Saturday.

Prime Minister spoke about the situation in terms of security in the country and noted that law enforcement authorities would not allow an increase in crime. Then, Ivanishvili touched on the issue of freedom of businesses and appealed to the businessmen:

"We will manage to put the country on its feet through the correct economic policies. Business free from the government pressure will encourage the establishment of the middle class, and this is our main goal. The relationship with business reflects the best the government's real face. In a few days, I will have a meeting with businessmen and discuss all the issues in detail. But, here I want to publicly address our businessmen: You have complete freedom, the state will not interfere in your work and will not give this opportunity to anyoneā€¯.

Note: The first large-scale meeting between Bidzina Ivanishvili and business representatives was held on the fourth day of parliamentary elections, on October 5, 2012.
