A new hotel is being built near Vardzia, while a 5 - star hotel construction planned by “Rakeen Development” company has not started yet.

Note: The "Rakeen Development" company planned arrangement of tourist complex of international-class in Vardzia on 35 thousand square meters in the vicinity of the historical monument. The project included the entertainment complex, a spa and sports center, as well as private villas, the project’s cost was 25 million USD.

As for the new hotel, it is being built by the local Vladimier Zazadze. As he informs commersant.ge, the construction will be completed in May and the hotel will be able to receive 60 people at the same time.

The room price in the hotel will be 30 GEL per person without meals and with three meals a day - 60 GEL.

According to him, foreign tourists from Israel as well as from Germany, Russia, France and other countries of the world come to see Vardzia.
