The Ukrainian law consulting company “Interlegal” with the international experience plans to enter Georgian shipping market in the near future.

According to the company’s representative in Georgia "Assa Trans Caucasus" Director Eduard Machavariani, maritime shipments hold 85% of the cargo transportation in the international trade where from time to time different types of disputes arise between carrier (ship owners, container line, sea port) and cargo owners, as well as insurance companies and banks.

"At present, there are no legal consulting firms in Georgia with the specialized knowledge and experience in international marine and general transport legislation that can resolve these types of disputes. The current situation puts the business in a high risk environment that negatively affects its functioning," - says Machavariani.

In his words, the Ukrainian company "Interlegal" has a wide experience in this area.

Any company engaged in international traffic and export-import operations will be able to use the company's services.
