A number of tenders announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure has increased by 26%. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Shota Marghulia responds to the companies, which speak about the reduction in the number of infrastructure tenders.

He says that in the first quarter of 2013 a volume of money transferred for infrastructure works exceeds last year’s figure by 32 million GEL.

Shota Murghulia explains commersant.ge that in the first quarter of 2012 55 GEL million were transferred for this purpose, while in 2013 this figure reaches 87 million. Accordingly, Deputy Minister calls groundless statements about the reduced infrastructure tenders and says that this week the ministry will provide a detailed report to the population regarding tenders and ongoing projects.

In his words, the “National Movement” manipulates the months and compares the summer and winter months, however, Murghulia adds, residents will soon be able to compare objectively.
