Ukraine's government is considering a plan, according to which, the supply of liquefied natural gas for LNG-terminal will be delivered not through the Bosporus but via Georgia’s Black Sea ports.

Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Savitski states that they are negotiating with Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan regarding this route.

Earlier, Turkey's Ambassador to Ukraine said that it was better not to discuss the Turkish straits for liquefied gas transportation because Turkish officials feared that vast amounts of explosive cargo shipping will create danger for ecology and vessel traffic in the Bosporus Strait

Late last year, Turkey proposed Ukraine to relocate LNG-terminal construction from Odessa to its territory.
