 Will the new shopping mall on the Kakheti Highway rival the Tbilisi Mall? A spokesman for the latter has stated that the construction process of the new mall is in its initial stages, and therefore it cannot be regarded as a rival. Its competitiveness can only be assessed upon its completion. The spokesman insists that the addition of a rival to the market will only have a stimulating effect for the Tbilisi Mall. The new shopping centre is set to open in autumn 2014. The mall is to house both leading local and international brands, cafes, restaurants, fast food units, and over 200 stores in total.
