Geocell - Golden Brand of the Year for the Ninth Time

Geocell was recognized Golden Brand of the year in three nominations on April 29 during the annual 9th Business Award Ceremony – 2013 Golden Brand, held by GLOBAL IDEA and the FINANCIAL. The nominee brands are selected by their awareness and popularity and also by creativity of the advertising campaign related to this brand. The brand popularity is identified through a special survey which focuses on creative decisions made for the popularization of the brand.

 

Year 2013 was indeed an exceptional one for Geocell brand, being the first in Georgia to have introduced new concept shops to customers with the biggest choice of mobile phones at the best price, the most convenient offers, highest quality expert team, unlimited possibilities of mobile internet and special environment, where Geocell invites everyone to experience and become part of latest achievements of mobile world.

 

For the aforementioned outstanding and unprecedented innovation and customer oriented services Geocell was acknowledged Golden Brand for the 9th time in the following two nominations: Innovation and Mobile Communication. 

 

Although being a winner in one more, the third nomination - Golden Brand for SCR was undoubtedly an honorable one. This is the true reflection of all the important contribution done by Geocell for preserving different historical heritage of the country, such as a “Century Project” – restoration of Ikalto monastery complex, saving important museum exhibits and hand writings for safe storage in the State Museum of Theatre, Cinema and Choreography and Institute of Manuscripts. And last and not least, our most recent joint project with the National Library of Georgia – “Digital Narrative” is the clear example of how modern technologies contribute to creating the country’s historical values. With the help of this project a memory of the past epoch, created by the last century’s innovation – photography will be transferred to future generations by today’s innovations – digitalization of the photos and storing them in Internet space for public access. 

 

Geocell continues to be at the service of young mind people with its innovative offers and customer oriented services and products and at the same time continues contributing to development of society.
