Turkish “Reina” Company, the owner of the famous restaurant chain, launches a project worth USD 20 million in Batumi. TheTurkish investor planned to build the hotel complex in Batumi still last year, but the project was changed, due to which the implementation deadline has been postponed. According to the Secretary General of the International Investors Association of Georgia, the project came into force and technical details are being specified.
Osman Chalishkan notes that the investor plans to build a casino, a hotel and a restaurant. He adds that the project will start by the end of the year and the construction should be completed in 2 years. Chalishkan says that Turkish investors' interest in Georgia is great and textile enterprises have already been launched in Guria and Imereti.
Apart from that, the Business Forum will be held in Batumi in September with the participation of 5 countries’ delegations. Chalishkan predicts that after Business Forum investors will show even more interest in Georgia.
