Eight information centers operated in Adjara during a  tourist season. As of August data, 32 026tourists used the services of information centerswhile in August of last year  only 16 146 tourists were registered.

From January to August 2014, 82 707 tourists havevisited the tourist information centers across Adjara region, while in the same period of  last year - 52060.

Based on this data, we can say that this year's season 59% more visitors applied to touristinformation centers to  get information.  

According to the statistics of the countries,  at the information center located  at the Sarpi cborder checkpoint  lead countries such as Turkey, Iran, Ukraine, Iraq, at the airport information center-  Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Israel. Mostly Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Israeli and European tourists visited  the local information centers located in Batumi and municipalities.
