Development of Shaori Lake infrastructure has not been carried out yet.

 

According to the Chairman of Ambrolauri City Assembly, the Georgian businessman plans to opena restaurant and a hotel on Shaori Lake, though the project is halted due to a lack of water and electricity communications on the territory
 

Municipal governor Malkhaz Lomtadze says  thatGEL 64 000 was spent on the water  supply project.

 

In total  GEL 150 000 will be allocated from thebudget in  2015. He adds  until the territory is arranged, Shaori will not be  attractive for investors. 
 

Shaori Lake Development Project, included the creation of the resort, was developed in 2008 and GEL30 000 was spent for this purpose.

 

Shaori reservoir or Shaori lake is  the largest reservoir in Racha-Lechkhumi and  Lower Svaneti region.

 

Shaori reservoir stretches from south-west to north-east  its  length is 7.1 kilometers, the largest width - 2.7 kilometers. The greatest depth is 14.5 meters, the average depth  9.8 meters, a totalarea of ​​9.2 km2. The water volume is  90.6 million m3.
