Investors are not interested in leasing the Romanov Palace. Commersant.ge was told at the State Property Agency. They say that if investors are interested, a conditional auction will be announced, but the Agency does not specify the terms of the auction.
According to them, this object is now closed and needs a relevant operator to start operating, however, it can be only leased and not privatized as it is prohibited because of the importance of the object.
A representative of the information center in Borjomi Artur Stepanian notes that they receive many letters requesting to visit the Palace of the Romanovs and the tourists are willing to pay 10-15 Euro
