Trump Tower Architect Plans to Carry out New Projects in Georgia

An architect of Trump Tower and Radissonhotel in Tsinandali will arrive in Georgia next springfor  planning his future projects. John Fotiadis  told radio "Commersant" about his plans to return to Georgia together with his partners  to restore the old ties with clients and discuss new opportunities in the market. Fotiadis says  that he designed twohotels in  Georgia and have a desire to work on new projects. According to a 47-storey Trump Towerproject, apartments with area of 80 700 square meters will be located in the building with a view of the Black Sea coast.

 

The end of 2013 was named the approximate date of the start of construction but the project has notbeen launched and whether or not Trump Tower will be built  in Batumi is still unknown. "Commersant" was told at the Silk Road Group which is the Trump partner that  the market  wasbeing studied. They sa the study should determine whether the country is ready for such a project.

 

The Silk Road doesn’t specify  when the market research will be completed.  According to the previousinformationthe general plan should be  agreed at  the first stage while   the project will be implemented  after the additional   study of the market. Construction of Radisson hotel in Tsinandali has already started in  collaboration  with  the Partnership Fund (PF).
