Georgia Holds 50th Place in Rating

The Forbes rating of the best countries for business put Georgia in the 50th place among 134 countries. Compared to the previous year’s rating, Georgia improved its position by 11 points. The rating considers such indicators as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), GDP per capita, size of the trade balance in the GDP, as well as the size of population. The top five countries are Canada, New Zealand, Hong-Kong, Ireland and Denmark. According to the Forbes, the safety of investors and ease of starting business is best in Canada. The United States took up the tenth place. As for our neighbors, Turkey is 54th, followed by Azerbaijan (78th), Armenia (89) and Russia (102).
