A hotel apartment complex will be built in Batumi with Georgian-Russian investment. The Russian construction company Rusich has entered the Georgian market brokered by the Georgian New Construction Company (NCC).
According to the company’s Director, a multi-functional complex will be built on the site of old, ugly houses. Local residents will be temporarily evicted from the area and after completion of construction, 41 families will be satisfied with a space of a total of 5 500 square meters.
Roin Beridze claims that according to a Memorandum signed with the Ministry of Economy, the project will allow to create 150 permanent jobs.
The complex will include a 100-room hotel, managed by the company. A restaurant, a cafe-bar, a swimming pool, a bowling club, a fitness room and a fast food restaurant Lido popular in the former Soviet states will be placed in the complex.
The hotel will satisfy customers of all categories, the price will range within $50 -200. As for the apartments, the cost in the 34-storey building will start from $1 200 per m2.
The construction of the complex will be commences in February and will completed maximum in 2 years.
