The construction of Rezidor Group’s  Park Inn hotel is planned to begin in spring instead of Tori hotel. According to  the head of the  Investment Department at Block Geo Group , a Memorandum on the construction of the hotel was signed with Rezidor  last year and permits procedures should be completed in March.

Tornike  Janashvili says that Tori hotel is planned to be  dismantled and a completely new larger Park Inn hotel will be built whose construction will be completed in 18 months. A total investment Block Invest will made in the project amounts to  $ 25 million.

Tornike Janashvili claims that another hotel’s development is also planned in Tbilisi, which is located near the Sheraton hotel, the hotel will be  4-star and will  present the American Best Western brand.  In the words of Janashvili,  the hotel will be opened this year.

Apart from Tbilisi, Block Geo Invest plans to  construct hotels in the regions as well. The head of the company's investment department informs that negotiations are underway regarding the construction of the Radisson Blu hotel, in addition, the company has an interest in  building the hotels in Batumi, Kutaisi and Poti.
