A recently opened Vinotel hotel offers guests vintage style, three- century wine cellar and exclusive wine.
According to Berdia Berishvili, the hotel’s Director, their hotel’s main concept is wine development and Georgian products promotion.
Vinotel is located in the eighteenth century wine cellar where exclusive wines which cannot be found in other wine shops and enotecas are displayed. In total 4 000 bottles of wine are stored in the cellar.
Berdia Berishvili does not specify the amount of the investment made in the hotel but says that it comes to a large sum.
Boutique-style hotel has 13 rooms. Vintage-style rooms are situated on the second floor, the price starts from $ 170 and reaches $ 310.
Vinotel is designed for average or high-income segments, businessmen and foreigners interested in wine. The hotel is mostly visited by Russian and German tourists.
The hotel has two tasting rooms, two VIP rooms and a restaurant.
In Berishvili’s words, the hotel as well as the restaurant and wine cellar are quite popular.
In the first stage, Vinotel's main objective is to strengthen its position in Tbilisi, afterwards it plans to expand in the regions.
