Gov’t Searching for Investors to Develop Real Estate

The government of Georgia offers the investors the real estate development  in the area of 300 hectares near Batumi.

Deputy Minister of Economy said in an interview with “fDI Intelligence" at  the Cannes International Real Estate Fair  that Batumi was a small town in the Black Sea region, but today Batumi is rapidly developing and economically active city .

 

Keti Bochorishvili notes that Batumi has a 50-kilometer coastline which can be developed.


In her words,  the government also identified 300 hectares of land near the international airport to develop the hotels, residences and gaming facilities there   and the government plans to attract investors for various projects.

 

Keti Bochorishvili adds that the government's priority in the next 5-10 years is  the development of mountain resorts and their transformation  into  4-season resorts.
