"Block-Invest" and "Carlson Rezidor Group" signed an agreement on construction of  an international dynamic mid-market hotel brand "Park Inn By Radisson". According to the Ministry of Economy, the hotel will be designed for the middle segment of customers. Construction will begin in a few months, and will complete in 2017. The hotel will have 200 rooms, a restaurant for 120 people, a bar, lobby bar, a conference hall, meeting rooms, and parking for 40 cars.

George Kvirikashvili, Minister of Economy, says the hotel will not be  five-star but in a lower, more demanded niche in today's tourism market.

" Another RADISSON brand will be opened  in Tbilisi. However, not in a niche of five-star hotels but in a lower and  the mostdemanded in today's tourism market. A total of $ 25 million will be invested in this hotel, about 600 people  will be employed  in its construction, and after the opening of the hotel more than 200 jobs will be created, "- George Kvirikashvili notes.

According to him, it can be only  hailed  that RADISSON brand continues to expand in Georgia.

"This will be a hotel working on" Park Inn By Radisson ". The management of the "Carlson Rezidor "planned development of a network of regional hotels. We believe that this will be a very important investment that will contribute to the development of tourism in Georgia, "- says Deputy Prime Minister.

"Block-Invest" and "Carlson Rezidor Group" have signed another Memorandum on the construction of a 72 –room  "Radisson Blu Mestia" hotel in the mountainous region of  Svaneti. According to the Ministry of Economy, the aggregate amount of investment in  the project will be  $ 10 million.
