Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that third hotel of Marriott network in Tbilisi will be opened on Saarbrucken Square in 2017. The matter concerns 130-room hotel Moxy, economy brand of the network. Respective agreement was signed between GMT Group (owner of previous two Tbilisi hotels of Marriott, Tbilisi Marriott and Courtyard Marriott) and Marriott. As the Ministry noted, total cost of the project amounts to $25 million, of which $18 million will be allocated by the US governmental agency OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation).
