The National Agency of the Public Registry has completed the process of adding every detail of Tbilisi to Google Maps.

As InterPressNews has been informed by the agency, every building and road in Tbilisi is present on the map; this data includes about 3500 km of roadways and 160,000 buildings.

“From now on, it will be possible to find any building in Tbilisi on the map, including public and private schools, universities, etc.,”- says the National Agency of the Public Registry.

The agency will also begin adding the town of Gori in greater detail to Google Maps as well as Information about Rustavi, Mtskheta and Poti.

The National Agency has been working for three years to add complete information about Georgia to the world’s most popular search system.

Information about Georgia appeared on Google Maps in 2011, as a result of two-year negotiations. The National Agency of the Public Registry functions as a regional administrator of Google Maps.
