The Georgian National Investment Agency (GNIA)
participated in MIPIM Asia, a real estate exhibition held from November
15-17 in Hong Kong.
GNIA, whose stated mission is to encourage national
and foreign investment in Georgia, was joined by Tbilisi Municipality to
present investment projects to attendees.
Giorgi Tsikolia, Deputy Director of GNIA made a
presentation on Georgia’s investment potential in particular about the
facilities put up for sale. In addition, he overviewed development
opportunities of Anaklia free tourism zone in western Georgia and Mestia
ski resorts in mountainous parts of the country.
At the exhibition on Georgia was presented with its
own panel where interested visitors had an opportunity to receive
additional information and have their questions answered.
MIPIM Asia is a unique real estate exhibition and
conference which is focused on facilitating transactions and connections
for real estate professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. This year the
exhibition brought together more than 1,800 influential real estate
professionals from over the world to explore major international
property development projects and connect potential partners with each
other.
GNIA has recently presented Georgia’s real estate
opportunities at MIPIM Europe which was held in Cannes. It also
participated in Real Vienna 2011, Expo Real 2011 in Munich as well as in
Cityscape Global 2011 in Dubai.
