Today Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held a meeting of the Commission in charge of the organisational issues surrounding the event, scheduled for October 15 and 16 in Tbilisi, before releasing detailed information about the inaugural event.

The PM’s press office said the first day of the Forum would be dedicated to presentations by expert guests on the topic of restoration of the Silk Road. Later that day themed panel discussions will be held in the spheres of infrastructure, transport, communications and energy.

The second day of the event will be dedicated to an exhibition of goods from Silk Road countries.
