Georgia’s seaside resort town Batumi will soon become a networking platform where more than 150 chairmen of leading businesses and financial institutions from the Caucasus region will discuss with local experts the possibilities of cooperation and new investments in the country.

On September 18 Batumi will host the International Investment Forum Batumi 2015, which aimed to promote a range of investment opportunities in Georgia’s key economic sectors; energy, hospitality and real estate, logistics, manufacturing, agriculture and regional services.

The Forum was co-organised by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, the National Investment Agency and US-based real estate company Cushman & Wakefield | Veritas Brown.

The Forum will be opened by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and head of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Archil Khabadze.

The event was expected to include a networking reception and conclude with private sessions between financial institutions and consulting companies.

During the one-day conference investors from the Caucasus region will learn about the investment potential of Georgia and establish communication with possible Georgian partners.
