 A fitness franchise with nearly 1,400 locations worldwide is coming to Georgia, offering "world class” fitness facilities to the local population in capital Tbilisi.
This autumn Snap Fitness will open a branch in the newly unveiled Axis shopping mall on Kazbegi Ave in Saburtalo district.
Company officials said the gym would be "affordable” and accessible to a wide range of Tbilisi residents. Official opening details will be announced sometime in September, said the firm.
Snap Fitness is renowned for its smaller gyms without the additional comfort extras like pools or locker rooms that operates 24/7.
To date the franchise has venues in 48 states within America – where it was founded by Peter Taunton in 2003 – as well as locations in 13 countries worldwide.
Snap Fitness was named on the Franchise 500 list in the Entrepreneur magazine in 2008, topping the Fitness category.
