The head of  the Mountain Resorts Development Company sums up a summer season in  Bakuriani and Gudauri and  evaluates it as a successful.

According to Sandro Onoprishvili, 70% more tourists visited the ski resort  Didveli compared with  last year. In Gudauri, new cycling paths opened this year that will further increase the popularity of the resort. As for preparation for  the winter season, Sandro Onoprishvili says that  the opening of Kokhta cableway is scheduled for December 27 and it will be a new life for  Bakuriani  as  the historic cableway  will be launched. In 2016 new ski lifts will be installed  in the Mitarbi resort. Onoprishvili explains  that a large-scale  construction is planned in Gudauri next year , the company, along with the Ministry of Economy,  is in talks with  the world famous company, in 2016 the resort's development plan will be ready and in the coming years   Gudauri will be a resort of the European level.

In early December Mountain Resorts Development Company plans to put  another resort,  Goderdzi, into operation.
